“I created this body of work and the "𝙈𝘼𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙇𝙀𝙈𝙊𝙉𝘼𝘿𝙀" series when I relocated to my new studio. After the COVID lockdowns I felt the strong need and urge to make the most positive and energising work. Not only for myself but also to lift others. It's the very first time I have used the colour yellow in a conscious way. So this new series is very important to me. It's part (together with "Over the Rainbow") of the paintings that are leading me in a new direction, naturally helping my works evolve.”
